Webelos 1 Den 3 had the opportunity to sit down with the wonderful volunteers at the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps ( on Monday night.  These dedicated volunteers serve our community and have responded to more than 2000 calls so far this year.  The members of Den 3 were able to learn first aid basics, what to do in an emergency and got to see the inside of the ambulance. Thank you to the members of the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps for your service, for welcoming us into your facility and for teaching us about your job.

On Saturday, Pack 7 Scouts enjoyed a trip to Diggerland, a construction themed park where they were able to operate actual machinery. They were also able to climb one of the world’s tallest ropes course.  A fun time was had by all who attended this fun pack outing.

Cranberry Lake Preserve

Team Tiger & Paws on the Path at Cranberry Lake Preserve - On November 15th, the Pack 7 Tiger & Wolf dens completed adventure requirements by participating in a hike with their families at Cranberry Lake Preserve. This 190-acre park is operated by the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation.

Visitors can follow well-marked trails to see the remains of a 19th-century farmhouse and early 20th-century stone-mining operation. It was a beautiful day for a fall hike and we did our part to leave this beautiful park better than we found it.
